The Bosnian Genocide happened about 15 years ago from 1992-1995. It happened in Srebrenica, Bosnia. During the genocide, between 8,000 and 9,000 men and boys were murdered. The remainder of the population (which was between 25,000 and 30,00 women, children and elderly people) was forced to leave the area. Although , many Serbs were killing the Bosnians, only Radslav Krstic has been found guilty of complicity in genocide in an international court.
There are many similarities between the Bosnian Genocide Holocaust. One example is similar methods of killing were used despite the Holocaust being occuring the 1940's. And, the bosnian genocide being occuring in the 1990's. According to Hasan Holdzic, the Serbs used torture chambers, executions, gas chambers and killing fields to kill the Bosnian. These methods are quite similar to the ones the Germans used on the Jews.
